How to Treat Bumps on Upper Arms
Hi guys, this is Eva from Bay Harbour MedSpa. And this is a question that I get quite often not only from you guys that ask me thequestion but it happens also a lot of times that my clients come and have this problem. How to treat pimples on the back of the arms. A lot of you can relate to it, this part ofthe arm is bumpy, you have pimples. Sometimes pimple happen on the thighs or the upper thighsand the question is how to treat it. Well, it's not an easy treatment, because the pimplesmost of the time on the skin come because the skin, the follicles in the back of thearm is congested. And you know skin is porous so skin does breathe, this is why you buyfor instance shoes and you buy leather shoes,
your feet will not stink and if you buy plasticshoes your feet will stink. Whyé Because plastic is a plastic, it does not breathe but shoesthat are made out of leather they do breathe so they let air through so you won't, yourfeet won't stink most of the time. Well, same thing, so this is skin, skin is porous. Andthere are follicles most people don't have hair here, but we have follicles. Very oftenthese follicles are congested. So one is from congestion, that this is congested, the otherreason can be hormonal. When at times your hormones are off balance and your diet attimes can be off balance or when I say diet is actually elimination from your body isout of balance, you will get congestion on
areas where the pores are not open, whereyou don't have hai r but the skin is dry, flaky, the sebum that's there cannot comeout and then it just stays trapped under the skin, because if you touch it theres littlelittle bumps, and the little bumps are actually fats that have deposited underneath, so thereare a few reasons why this happens. There is actually only one really treatment andapproach to this, to get rid of it is to open the skin and help it to come out. So how doyou open the skiné So my suggestion would be if you came to the I would say ok,let's do microderm abrasion, you know, microderm abrasion. I would do an brate your skin withthe crystals, you know, crystals, microderm
abrasion. However, if that's not possible, then there's a twofold approach that I would have for you. It's using microderm abrasioncrystals that you can get from me and using an AHA acid or mandelic acid. So what's thedifferenceé Well, if you are totally white, let's say like me and your skin is white, then you would want to buy the AHA acid which is made out of glycolic acid and some otheringredients. If however, you are tan, you are hispanic, you are middle eastern, arabic, you are indian, you are african, you are black, you are caribbean and your skin is darker, then you would want to use the microderm abrasion and mandelic acid. The two acids are differentand approach the skin differently. Mandelic
acid, I formulated for people with darkerpigmented skin. So you can use it safely to not destroy the pigment of your skin, it won'tirritate your skin, however, if you have darker pigmented skin you don't want to use the AHAglycolic acid because the molecule structure of the glycolic acid is much smaller thanthe mandelic acid and that can irritate and could be discoloring the skin. So you don'twant to use it. If you have darker pigmented skin you want to use microderm abrasion andmandelic acid. If you are fair, white, russian, scandinavian, polish, irish, then you canuse the AHA glycolic acid what you would do at home is twice a week you would apply theacid with a q tip and you would put it all
over the area, you would leave it on for 10minutes you would then take the nutrilizer which is in there, mix it, and you would nutrilizeit by washing it off with the nutrilizer. And then day after you do the manelic acid, you would use the microderm abrasion scrub and you would abrate the skin and you woulddo this on an ongoing basis. And you would also make sure that you moisturize the skinand the best moisturizer is a neutral moisturizer or aromatherapy oil that I have, but if youhave at home a neutral moisturizer you can use that, but that's what I would use. Sotwice a week I would do the mandelic acid or glycolic acid and twice a week I woulddo the microderm abrasion, I would do first
